Week 6 of the Team League started of rather damp but luckily enough it cleared up just in time for shooting to start. The weather not withstanding we had a good turnout. With only two weeks to go, the competition is heating up with only one point separating the Chippers and the Duckers!

Winter Team League 2016
This years Team League will commence from this Sunday 11th September and will run for 8 weeks with the best 7 averages from each team determining the final score. Everybody that has expressed an interest in taking part have been assigned to a team (please see attached file). The teams were decided based on peoples shooting average from our Summer League. Club Members shooting trip to Wales
Hi All.
If you remember earlier in the year I asked if any of our members were interested in travelling over to a shooting grounds in Wales for a weekends shooting. At the time I got the name of about 13 members that were interested in going, Thanks to Dennis we now have some costs and a possible shooting grounds.
- Location: http://www.fauxdeglashootingground.co.uk/
- Dates: September 2nd – 4th (leaving Friday – returning Sunday)
- Ferry & Hotel approx €220 (Bed & breakfast in a twin room 10miles from the grounds)
- 200 clays for €63
- Optional lessons @ £80stg for 2 hours incl. clays
- 500 cartridges between £90-£100stg
Each shooter will also need to get a gun Europass EFP. This is free and obtained in your local Garda station. You need 2 x photographs and bring along your current gun licence.
We also need to get a sponsor / permit for shooting in the UK. This is completed by the shooting grounds. It costs £100stg for 6 or more shooters. Permit: http://www.north-wales.police.uk/media/124995/61116-Application-for-a-Vistor-Permit.pdf
So based on 10 people and the above prices you are looking at €355 approx (not including dinners). So please let me know if you are still interested as we need to get this moving due to the forms needed.
Regards
Thomas
